Chicken 666

This is a recipe we’ve been working on at home, based on the ever-popular Chicken 65. Our version will currently blow your socks off, so don’t try this unless you’re comfortable with hot food. I’ll publish a more polite version once we’ve refined one.
  • 500g chicken breast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 tsp chilli powder
  • 2 tsp coriander powder
  • 5 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp yoghurt
  • 1 tbsp corn flour
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  1. Chop the chicken, mix everything together, then marinade overnight
  2. Cook to taste. Either oven/grill for 20-25 mins at 200 degrees, fry, or deep fry until crispy.

#LNUG love

A big thank you to everyone who lent moral support, wolf-pack-style debugging, or appropriately-time #lnug tweets during my live coding session last night. In case you’re interested I’ve posted the code on the project’s Github repo in the example dir.

I’ve also updated the README to include some fancier search examples, like fuzzy searching and the find() method.

    Creature.find({
        legs:4,
        eats:"wasps"
    },function( err, creatures, response ){
	// lovely fuzzy matches in here
    });
